Variation #788 of Solas – Botanically Dyed Lace Weight Wool Yarn

A glimmer of light to give some hope for the future, our Solas line of yarn is botanically dyed by hand. The base is a soft, lace weight organic wool. No two skeins are exactly alike, whether immersion dyed or hand painted (or a combination thereof). While some skeins may be similar color tones or patterns to each other, they are dyed without dye lots to emphasize and celebrate the ephemeral, idiosyncratic and diverse nature of life and the natural world around us.

Color names relate to the botanical materials used to color the yarn, so if your project calls for more than one skein they can be thoughtfully combined — if you desire a specific yardage of fairly similar color tones to use together (i.e. for a sweater or shawl), please leave it in your order notes and we will do our best to hand select skeins that go together well. Please note, this is not a guarantee of any sort, as all skeins are unique.
